I have uploaded a new IPA. The version/build number as specified in bundle.config is recognized by HockeyApp. And on my desktop I can see the new version. When I open HockeyApp on my device, I am only seeing the old version. I can navigate to the new version (Overview/Versions), but why isn't it appearing when I open HockeyApp?

    Hi John,

Does the new build have your UDID in it? Otherwise it will not be shown to the device because it's not able to be installed.

    Thanks,

    Shawn

Yes, it has my UUID, and the build showed the correct provisioning profile. I deleted all the other builds, and magically the new build became the default install. All is working now. Not sure what happened though?

    Thanks,

    Hi John,

Did the build you just installed have a higher CFBundleVersion than your other builds? We sort based on this value, if it's much lower sometimes this will not appear in the builds available.

    Thanks,

    Shawn

The old version was (now deleted)…

                    <key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key>
                    <string>2.0</string>
                    <key>CFBundleVersion</key>
                    <string>7</string>

    The new version was…
                    <key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key>
                    <string>2.1</string>
                    <key>CFBundleVersion</key>
                    <string>1</string>

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,

That was it then, you should increment each new build by atleast one. Which was not the case here.

    Thanks,

    Shawn
