I am working on an iOS app using Xamarin.Forms and am trying add the User and Contact data to crash reports for iOS. With my research so far I figured out how to add a description to each crash using BITHockeyManagerDelegate and implementing ApplicationLogForCrashManager(BITCrashManager crashManager).

However when I implement the following:
UserIdForHockeyManager(BITHockeyManager hockeyManager, BITHockeyBaseManager componentManager)
UserEmailForHockeyManager(BITHockeyManager hockeyManager, BITHockeyBaseManager componentManager)
UserNameForHockeyManager(BITHockeyManager hockeyManager, BITHockeyBaseManager componentManager)

The User and Contact fields on the crash report are still blank.

I have also tried setting the following:

BITHockeyManager.SharedHockeyManager.UserId = "...";
BITHockeyManager.SharedHockeyManager.UserName = "...";
BITHockeyManager.SharedHockeyManager.UserEmail = "...";

Setting the variables in the SharedHockeyManager also did not work.

The following link describes a similar case:

However setting the variables to null still did not fix the issue i was having.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here?

    Just a follow up, the User and Contact did now show up when using a device. This might just be a simulator issue.

    I'm glad the information showed up now. We are not aware of any issue from within the simulator. Please get in touch if you continue to see this issue.
