Hi HockeyApp team

We've been using your platform for quite a while now, and are happy with it. Now we're facing an issue with an app where we want / have to build multiple APKs and offer them via HockeyApp. I saw that several people have asked for the feature over the years. Is there any support planned (or available) for providing multiple APKs without offering them as separate apps?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

    Hi Daniel,

Appreciate the positive feedback and glad you are enjoying HockeyApp! This feature is currently not on our backlog, can you please provide a description on how multiple .apk's are helpful to you? I'll request our product team to review it and potentially open a task to implement.

Please note, if this feature is accepted this would be available in Mobile Center not on HockeyApp.

    Hi Shawn

Thanks for the quick answer, and sorry for not replying earlier. Just checked out the Mobile Center, I didn't know about it, looking forward to test it.

Back to topic:Some or actually most of our customers do not have a very technical background. That's why multiple APKs should be merged into one app in HockeyApp, customers would not know what APK / app to install, rather just should be able to select one app, tap "Install" and hockeyapp will deliver the right APK for the right device/architecture. Let me know if this doesn't make too much sense, or if you see another approach.

    Hi Dani,

Just so that I make sure I understand correctly. When you are saying multiple apks. You actually are talking about different apks per device / architecture. And you would expect that it would all be automated for a tester. They would just see an install button. The system would provide them the correct apk based on detection of their device.

If so I think that is something we would like to get to in the future with Mobile Center.
