How to use the crash report feedback feature

If your QuincyKit client supports providing user feedback on the status of the submitted crash report, HockeyApp supports this feature.

To use it, mark every crash group as fixed in the next apps version. Once you set another apps version to be installable, submitted or available, you can define to assign all crash groups that are marked as being fixed will be assigned to this apps version. The feedback will then be shown depending on this new apps version status.

This means if you are having a live version of your app being buggy. You fix some crashes and mark the corresponding crash groups as fixed, then add a new version of this app to HockeyApp. Once the new version gets submitted you can change the status in HockeyApp of this app version to submitted. Any incoming crash report will then report this status back to the QuincyKit client and the user will be informed that the bug is fixed and will soon be available for download. Once you set the apps status to available, the user will be informed that a new version fixing this crash is available for him to download.
